Brashear Baseball Hosts Putnam County May 4, 2018

The Tigers hosted Putnam County Friday for a V/JV
double-header. In the varsity game, 13 Putnam County
runs in the 1st, and another 10 in the 2nd buried 
Brashear's chances for a victory. Brashear scored
2 in the 1st, 3 in the 3rd, and another 3 in the 4th
in the 26-8 loss.  Austin Peterson homered and singled
for Brashear with Wyatt Reeves, and Brhet Place having
2 hits each. Aden Zents, Garrett Housman, and John 
Gerhold also had hits. 

In the JV game Putnam started the scoring with 2 in 
the first, but Brashear answered with 2 of their own
and outscored Putnam County the rest of the way  to
claim a 9-6 win. Aden Zentz homered for Brashear with
Justin Leedom, Levi Blankenship, Austin Ray, Aden
Zentz, and Austin Peterson also having hits.
